About us

Haines Boatyard are proud of their heritage and strive to ensure that traditional skills and crafts are retained and developed. 

In 1983 The Haines family
who had run the business
at Ferryside since the 1900’s placed the Company on the market. The Company was purchased by a group of yachtmen from ISC. The aim
of this act of faith was to preserve the boatyard
activity on the site and
sailing in the harbour.

The quality and craftsmanship has continued to develop over the last 28 years and Haines are dedicated to preserve this traditional amenity for those people who love to mess about in boats.
